Description
Designed by Hans Allbäck, this rugged little paint mixer is purpose-built for mixing Linseed Oil Paint and Linus Wall Paint much more quickly and efficiently and can be used in, both, 1 L and 3 L paint cans.
Plunge into the paint and mix with confidence. The solid steel construction is very strong and can withstand a high rate of torque, which is needed for breaking up dense pigment and re-incorporating it back into the linseed oil.
The mixing head is set a little slanted on the shaft rather than perpendicular so that when the paint mixer is operating at high speed, the mixing head wobbles slightly in the paint and gently works its way down to smoothly break up any pigment that may have settled in the bottom of the paint can.
The pointed teeth are each set at a slight angle in succession around the circumference of the mixing head, so that when the paint mixer spins at high speed, a gentle centripetal force drags the paint back in on itself toward the centre, compounding the mixing speed, similar to a high-speed blender in the kitchen.
All of these careful design details work in concert so that the paint mixer can operate at high speed, making the job of mixing linseed oil paint much faster and without causing the paint to spray out of the can in the process.
