Description
The untreated European beechwood joiner's mallet is a classic tool with a large striking surface for better control and softer impact force, specifically for wood handled chisels and wooden assembly work.
This essential tool is used for a wide variety of window and door joinery, such as tightening joints during assembly or repair, wood repair with dowels or wooden plugs, gently striking chisels for cutting out recesses for hinges and other hardware, and even for gently breaking up old paint with flat screwdriver to remove existing hardware, and so much more.
The mallet is a bit larger than average, so it can be used for heavy mortising, and its chamfered edges prevent splintering during use.
